So let's get thinking how to make our bedrooms less bedraggled, and more...blissfull!
Much easier, of course, for existing d @ d gift box owners. If you already have a Privilege Card, you get the opportunity to buy a Bedroom design, online at http://www.designatdistance.com/ for a special customer rate of $250 (so long as your bedroom is in the same home as the room you bought your original design for).
And for those of you who haven't yet bought a design at distance service, here are a few hints and tips to chase away those bedroom blues...
Check your mattress! By the time you're 75 years old you will have passed 25 years in bed (I'll let you do the relative math to bring it down to your own age...)
So, unless you've recently renewed your mattress, it's probably time to give it some thought: your back, your
posture, and those close to you will be thankfull (believe me, after a good nights sleep, you'll be in a much better mood!).
What price paint? A small price in comparison to the good a change of colour can do for you're enjoyment of a room, so gather together the colour charts and let your your heart do the picking. Your bedroom is such a private space that you can dare to be different, because unlike the living room, your bedroom won't be under the constant scrutiny of family, friends and other visitors.
Tantalizing texture...what better place than the bedroom to let your senses speak, and what better sense to bring to the fore in the bedroom, than touch? Surround yourself with luxurious fabrics, that go from soft and silky, to fabulously furry. There's no room as open to bringing in great textures as the bedroom, so go wild and let your touch do the talking!
What bedroom? it's a boudoir baby! So get visual: storage is King, but when we're talking impact don't be afraid to show your assets! Bring superb shoes, and beautiful bags out of the closet and put them on show. I love to use "floating shelving" to showcase those treasures that spend so little time being seen. But a word of warning: keep them clean! Sweet dreams everyone...
