Sister companies that is. The concept I'd started to develop when I first arrived in Montreal, “Design 4U”, had been firmly stored away in the background since design at distance came to life. But I knew it really deserved to be part of the exclusive collection of design products offered through our online design store.
With little doubt, it would give our designers another cutting edge to their designs, and I was feeling the pressure to pull it out of the cupboard, brush it off and concentrate on getting this new and innovative concept finished!...
But time moves fast in the business world, and it would soon be a year since I'd touched base with the main partners involved in our designs. Would they still be interested? I could only try...
The phone calls began. Contacts were called, and the initial discussions were revived...with success! We had one of the world's most prestigious wine negotiators on board, an amazing food magazine, and an exclusive collection belonging to our own company. And the leading manufacturer of the material, set to be the base of our product, had agreed to supply us! Suddenly it was looking like the Design 4U concept could be closer to it's launch than we thought.
Intrigued? I hope so! But we're going to keep it under wraps for the moment. There's still work to do before we can introduce you, but believe me, it's going “to rock your world”...all around your home.
