Welcome!

This very visual, and accessible exhibition
 in downtown Montreal was aptly
named, "lavage"
Welcome to our latest design at distance partner, French born, Montreal-based artist and creator, Emmanuel Brasseur.
We fell in love with Emmanuel's approach to art, even before we saw his work. And needless to say, once we'd discovered his collections, we weren't disappointed!
With values similar to our own, Emmanuel feels that art should be accessible to a wider market, not only to people who have the habit of visiting specialized galleries...

His work reflects this desire to be “generous” with his talent. His art is colourful and vibrant, and uses mediums that surprise and delight: adding texture and depth, and a touch of humour to his contemporary work.  I could happily live with many of his “tableaux”! I love their size, presence and their distinct personalities: well worth both the financial investment, and the wall space, in my home!

We feel very lucky to have Emmanuel on board, working with our designers, to help find just the right piece of art to adorn your walls.
You can choose pieces from his existing collections, or commission an original piece of art to your own requirements: a great experience, that adds a new depth of pleasure to buying art. And it's surprisingly affordable when you plan it into an overall project.

We're looking forward to seeing the results of the research that Emmanuel is doing: turning colour into sound, and pushing the boundaries of “Art as we know it”. This “merging” of two, previously separate artistic cultures will be interesting to follow, and we're sure his research will help him create even more cutting-edge artwork.

So the time is right to invest: as Emmanuel's name gets better known, the value of his work will increase, and that commissioned piece you ordered, may turn out to be a better buy than you ever imagined!
Take time out to visit http://www.emmanuelbrasseur.com/ and see for yourself some examples of his work. Enjoy!

PS. keep watching this space, and the d @ d Design Store at http://www.designatdistance.com/ for the launch of selected, Emmanuel Brasseur prints, exclusive to design at distance.
